What’s good, baller? So you’ve copped NBA 2K24 and you’re ready to swish some threes, slam some dunks, and break some ankles – all on your keyboard. But wait, those controls seem as complex as an NBA playbook, huh? No sweat, we’ve got the assist for you!

 

In this guide, we’ve got the lowdown on all the default keyboard and mouse commands for NBA 2K24 on PC. If these controls aren’t your jam, you can always change things up. Just go to Main Menu > Options > Control Settings and ball your way. Now let’s break it down!

 

 

Basic Offense and Defense Controls

  • Move Player: W, A, S, D

 

  • PRO STICKâ„¢ (Dribble Moves / Passing / Shooting): Numpad 2, 4, 6, 8

 

  • HardStop/Post-Up/Protect: Left Shift

 

  • Pick Controls/Call Play: Tab

 

  • Sprint: Numpad Enter

  • Layup Finish Alley-Oop/Putback Dunk (while controlling the receiver): Numpad 5

 

  • Call Timeout: Page Up

 

  • Jump Pass: Numpad 5 + Spacebar

 

  • Pause: Page Down

 

  • Call for Ball: Spacebar

 

  • Set Screen: Numpad 1

 

  • Instruct the CPU to Shoot: Numpad 5

 

  • Off-Ball Cut: Numpad 2, 4, 6, 8

 

  • Chuck: Numpad 1

 

  • On-Ball Steal: Numpad 2
