So, first things first, the Griddy. What is it? It’s the touchdown celebration that took the NFL by storm, started by Allen “Griddy” Davis, a high school football player, back in 2019. The dance went viral in 2021, thanks to TikTok and NFL players like Justin Jefferson and Ja’Marr Chase. It’s got that heel-tapping, arm-swinging goodness that’ll get your blood pumping.

Now, let’s talk Madden. EA SPORTS added the Griddy to Madden 23, and now, in Madden 24, it’s back. But listen up, there’s a catch. Not every player can pull off this sick move. And no, I’m sorry, Mac Jones fans, he ain’t one of ’em…

The players who’ve got the Griddy in their back pocket are Justin Jefferson, Ja’Marr Chase, and D.J. Chark. These ballers got the Griddy as their ‘signature’ touchdown celebration. So if you wanna Griddy, you’re gonna have to stick with one of these three.

But wait, there’s more! While those three players are the only ones you can make do the Griddy, there are others who’ll bust it out at random. Run out of bounds with Patrick Mahomes in a key fourth-quarter situation, and you just might catch him breaking out into the dance.
