HOW TO GET THE CAPTAIN ARMBAND IN FIFA 23 CAREER MODE

A captain’s strongest stats aren’t their physical attributes. Compared to a normal player, captains have a higher level-headedness, maturity and initiative.

Being a captain is not easy; you’ll have to show your loyalty towards the club. Having the leadership trait also makes you eligible for the captain’s armband.

In order to get the leadership trait, you’ll have to become a one club man, much like Messi who spends their entire career in a single club and never switches over.

You’ll also have to be a team player, and prioritize your team’s interests over your own. A team player is also responsible for their storyline in Career mode.

However, a team player can also abandon the team if they get a better offer. So, the only way to earn the armband is to become both the team player and one club man.

Finally, know that there is a bit of RNG involved. The game AI often picks the captain, so even if you have a preferred player in mind with the necessary qualities, the game might pick someone else entirely. However, there is no harm in increasing your odds by following the rules and making your player a viable candidate for the armband.
