That means you’ve gotta get your infantry, artillery, tanks and air support working together like a well oiled machine… Don’t even think about sending your infantry into the fray without the right backup, like some heavy-duty artillery or tanks covering their backs. Sync up your attacks to get the most bang for your buck with each unit type.

Get the lowdown on your artillery

Artillery is a major player in your strategy in The Great War: Western Front. You’ve got two main types to work with – heavy & light. Heavy artillery can dish out gas attacks and rock airburst shells, while light artillery can unleash rolling barrages and smoke screens. Sometimes, a string of smaller wins can be enough to chip away at the enemy’s National Will while giving yours a boost.

Managing resources like gold reserves and supplies is key in The Great War: Western Front. You’re going to need to replace lost units and soldiers after a battle, and that can seriously drain your resources.
