Gundam Breaker 4 Beginner’s Guide: Tips to Get You Started

Gundam Breaker 4 has arrived, and it exceeds our expectations. After New Gundam Breaker left fans wanting more, this new game marks a big improvement with its great customization choices fun combat, and better online gameplay. Here are some key tips to help you get the most out of your Gundam-building journey!

Get Started with the Story and Gameplay

The story mode in Gundam Breaker 4 builds on what made the series great and adds exciting new features. You play as a character without a voice climbing the ranks of a clan. You’ll take on different missions, from fighting hordes of enemies to squaring off against massive Perfect Grade models.

I realized that when you take your time to enjoy the story and check out the different missions, it works out well. Each mission gives you new challenges and chances to test what your Gundam can do so don’t hurry through—just take it all in.

Use Breaker Boosters to Get Better Loot

Breaker Boosters can make the parts you collect during missions much better and rarer. Here’s how to get the most out of them:

How to Get Them: You earn Breaker Boosters when you get an S rank in missions.

How to Use Them: Turn on a Breaker Booster before you start a mission to improve your loot quality. You’ll get another booster for every S rank you achieve.

Try Out Different Skills

Gundam Breaker 4 has a wide range of skills to improve your combat experience. The “Army Knife” skill on Gundam Heavy Arms stands out allowing you to perform melee attacks without stopping.

When I find a new skill, I go into Test Void mode to try it out. Finding strong skill combinations that match how you like to play is enjoyable, so feel free to test different setups.

Earn More GP by Adding Extra Enemies

Extra enemies shown as blinking gold spots on your radar, give a big GP boost—sometimes up to 200,000 GP for each kill. These unique enemies might look like small Gundams or hidden tanks, so watch out for them.

You’ll see extra enemies more often when you use Breaker Boosters so I always turn one on before a mission to get the most out of these chances. Take them out fast to earn as much GP as you can.

Try Out the Diorama Mode

Diorama Mode is a new thing in Gundam Breaker 4 that lets you make and show off cool scenes with your custom-made Gunpla. It’s a fun way to be creative and enjoy yourself when you’re not fighting.

I’ve killed hours messing around with different poses and scenes in Diorama Mode. It’s great to show off your Gunpla builds to others and put your own spin on your collection.

Take Your Time and Enjoy the Ride

Keep in mind, Gundam Breaker 4 focuses on creativity and customization. Don’t rush the game—spend time to try out different parts and setups.

From my experience, the early game gives you a chance to play with various combos and figure out what you like. Have fun building and fighting without worrying about making your Gundam perfect right off the bat.

Get Social with Clans

Clans play a crucial role in the game’s online experience providing opportunities to connect with other players, join events, and more:

Join a Clan: Head to the Clan Station in the main lobby to join or start a clan. Clan membership allows you to team up with others for missions and events.

Start a Clan: You can set up your own clan at the Clan Station if you prefer. Ask friends and other players to join and reap the rewards of group membership.

Clan membership enriches the multiplayer experience creating new chances for teamwork and rivalry.

Make the Most of Master Skills

Gundam Breaker 4 brings Master Skills to the table, a new feature that has an impact on how your Gunpla performs in fights. These powerful abilities differ from EX or OP skills, which are tied to specific parts. Instead, you can equip Master Skills giving you more options to customize your build.

Try out different combinations to find a Master Skill that fits how you play. You might want to boost your attack, beef up your defense, or help out your team. As you play more, make sure to level up these skills. This will keep your Gunpla strong enough to handle tougher fights down the line.
