FIFA 23: How to Do Lob Through Ball

The lobbed through ball is a simple yet effective trick that gives you a big advantage while you’re on the offense. This move lets you pass the ball in the air towards one of your teammates. Here is everything you need to know in order to pull it off.

HOW TO DO A LOB THROUGH BALL IN FIFA 23

• To perform this move, hold down Y on Xbox One & Xbox Series X|S or Triangle on PS4 & PS5 or X on Switch and press LB/L1/L on your respective controllers. Release Y/Triangle/X once the ball has enough force to reach the target player.

• Also, use the Left Stick to aim the ball in a specific direction. 

• The move is especially effective with quick wingers and attackers. The objective here is to pass the ball behind the opponent’s defensive line to a fast teammate capable of outpacing the defenders.

• This puts the player in a 1v1 position with the goalkeeper, making it easier to score the shot, since there are no defenders to pressure them around.

• If you’re trying to use a lobbed ball to make a play on the winger, use a quick cross to deliver the ball into the box so that one of your forwards can head in to intercept it.
