ATLAS: Armor
Few people fear a naked pirate. What you wear can keep you alive… and looking fearsome.
– Each set of armor has five pieces: head, chest, hands, legs, and feet. You can also equip a shield in your offhand slot as armor too.
– Anything you’re wearing has an armor value that protects you against enemy attacks. Heavier armor protects you more.
– You put armor on by moving it from your inventory into the specific boxes on the inventory screen. Reverse the process to take something off.
– Armor also has a hypothermic (protects against cold) and a hyperthermic (protects against heat) value.
– Armor weighs you down like any carried item, whether you’re wearing it or not. Some will even slow your movement down (with the benefit of providing extra protection).
