Where Can I Get Free Potent Scents in Coromon?

Potent Scents are essential endgame items, as they increase the odds of encountering higher PV Coromons. Creating an endless supply of them requires a bit of setup, which is not possible until you reach the endgame. However, this guide reveals all the hidden Potent Scents throughout Velua, which you can get for free.

Hidden Potent Scents throughout Velua

Milestone – Milestone 15 unlocks the first Potent Scent, which is relatively easy to obtain.

Thunderous Caves – There are two Potent Scents in Thunderous Caves. You can find the first one on the ground floor on a pillar inside this crevice. Its located to the left of the yellow-haired NPC.

The second Potent Scent can be found on the caves’ second floor, right next to this pillar.

Pyramids – The third Potent Scent is located on the fifth floor of the Pyramids near the central statue.

Vermeer Grotto – The Grotto is a cave network that connects Darudic and Vlamma. The Potent Scent can be found in a cave on the Grotto’s second tileset. Continue east until you reach an entrance where the scent is lodged on this rock.

Mount Muspel – There are two Potent Scents in the mines of Mount Muspel. You can find one on the first floor. Take the first cart and then keep heading north until you reach this box containing a scent.

The other Potent Scent can be found on the mines’ second floor. Continue forward until you reach a room with three minecarts running parallel to each other. The middle cart will take you to the room containing a golden box with a Potent Scent inside of it.

Frostpeak – Travel to Frostpeak, which is located directly to Alavi’s left. A Potent Scent can be found just behind the tree marked in this image.

Frost Cavern – The pillar to the west of the ice puzzle on the second floor of the Frost Cavern also contains a Potent Scent.

Ixqun – The last Potent Scent that you can find in the game is located in the Ixqun ruins. It’s hidden in a chest on top of a small fountain on the map’s east side.

Game Completion – Finally, Rigel rewards you with three Potent Scents and other items once you’ve completed the game.

However, to get the most out of your Potent Scents, use the soft reset trick.
