Tios and Tricks for Beginners
- Keep a close eye on your Mental Health, and have some to spare before exploring a memory or starting a dream. 100 should get you through most of those.
- You have 20 save slots. Use them.
- You can get everyone’s Mental Health back up to the max by meditating in the tent on the university campus (in addition to going home and sleeping – yes, everyone seems to pile up in your bed to sleep :3).
- How to get Energy back up to max without sleeping: enter the menu (e.g., press Esc), go to Skills, and choose the exhausted character. Choose Skills again, then Rest, then the character – then press your favorite to confirm key to your heart’s content. Not sure if this is a bug or a feature…
Which Stats should you focus on?
It’s up to you. You could, for example, just try to raise your max Mental Health as much as possible so nothing will get you down to 0. If you like having your allies around, though, their Mental Health will also be attacked, and they are more squishy.
If you have enough Wits and Skillfulness, your opponent may not get a chance to do anything to you or your allies. That means that focusing on these stats can protect your squishy allies, but it also gives them/you fewer chances to contribute with their various interesting skills.
