Starbase: What Are Research Points and How Do I Get More?

In Starbase you rack up something called Research Points?? They pile up as you craft items. Now here’s the deal: the type of points you get? Well, that’s on the materials you’re using in your crafting hustle… Metals, circuits, & so on, they each add different types of points.
So why bother with these points… Think of ’em like keys, unlocking advanced goodies in the tech tree. Eyeing those high-tech components or fancy upgrades? You’ll be needing to cash in those Research Points, each tech branch has its price.
