WoW Classic – How to Get the Shadowforge Key

In order to maneuver around Blackrock Depths efficiently, you will need the Shadowforge Key. It’s used to open many of the doors and skip around a lot of this massive dungeon.

You must first go to Forgewright’s Tomb in Blackrock Mountain and speak to Franclorn while being dead (he’s a ghost). Complete the quest he gives you, “Dark Iron Legacy,” and you will receive the Shadowforge Key. Rogues can also pick the doors at lockpicking 280.
