The El Tornado skill is an effective yet simple move. Integrating it into your skill set will help you catch the defense off-guard, giving you enough space to score the winning shot. However, the El Tornado is a 5-star move, so there is a bit of practice involved if you want to pull it off consistently.

HOW TO PERFORM THE EL TORNADO IN FIFA 23

Here are the steps you need to perform the El Tornado.

PS4 & PS5

Press down the L1 button and flick the Right Stick Upward and Sideways.

Flick the Right Stick to the side you want to move the ball.

XBOX ONE & XBOX SERIES X I S

Press down the LB button and flick the Right Stick Upward and Sideways.

Flick the Right Stick to the side you want to move the ball.

HOW TO USE THE EL TORNADO IN FIFA 23

The El Tornado is the perfect move to help you escape a high-pressure defense. It’s also ideal to use in situations where the attacker is trying to take you down from behind.

You can mix things up by doing a heel to heel roll or the brand new ball to heel roll right after executing the El Tornado. These moves will give you some much-needed momentum and help you close the gap between you and the goal.

However, the best possible place to use the move is just outside of the 18-yard box. The reason why it’s so effective is because you can take a shot towards the top corner of the goal right after executing the move.

Make sure you have enough space and you’re parallel to the goal while executing the El Tornado.
