The practice arena is a great place to work on your fundamental skills. It could never replace the experience of online 11-per-side games, but if you’re just starting out and want to improve your 1v1 game, or simply to practice a specific skill without getting interrupted, then the practice arena is the place to be. Here is how you can get access to it.
HOW TO ACCESS THE PRACTICE ARENA IN FIFA 23
- The Practice Arena allows you to play as a goalkeeper or a normal player. You’ll go 1v1 against another player in a Free Kick, Field or PK match.
- To access the Practice Arena, go to Main Menu > Play Modes > Quick Play Modes > Practice Arena.
- Once you hover over the option, you can choose to play as a player or a goalkeeper.
- Once inside, you can choose which player you want to play as. Press LB/L1 and RB/R1 to scroll between different countries, and LT/L2 and RT/R2 to scroll between different clubs within the same country.
- After setting both the player and the goalkeeper, you’re now ready to enter the Practice Arena.
- You can practice your skill moves in a 1v1 match against the goalkeeper or vice versa. If you forgot the inputs for certain skills, simply pause the game and choose ‘Skill Moves Help’ for the entire list.
- You can also practice your free kick game and penalty shots in this mode. Basically, when it comes to perfecting 1v1 skills, the Practice Arena is the perfect place.
