No Throttle & Brake in Test Drive – Issue Fix

Some players are facing this issue. Following the steps below may help you resolve this issue. This problem still exists in version 1.0. We recommended you update to the latest version if you are still playing version 1.0 of the game.

 

  • 1) Run regedit. Press WINDOWS KEY + R, type Regedit.

 

  • 2) Go into HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Red Dot Games\

 

  • 3) Click on the “Car Mechanic Simulator 2021” folder, and delete.

 

This will remove game settings as well as any broken keys.

 

If you’re using a QWERTY keyboard, it should function after that. When using AZERTY, you must rebind your keys in the game settings.
