UNDECEMBER Enchantments Guide: Everything You Need to Know

Introduction

Gear enchants are a powerful way to enhance your gear by adding additional options. The specific options that are available to you depend on the type of gear you are enchanting and its equip condition. These options may include the grade, option count, option type, option values, and qualities of the gear. Keep in mind that once you upgrade a piece of gear to Legendary grade, its options will become permanent and cannot be changed. However, if you revert the gear back to Normal grade, you will be able to modify its options again.

To start the enchanting process, visit the NPC Croco (Blacksmith) and register the gear you want to enchant. You’ll need to choose the essences to use, but only certain essences are available based on the type of gear you are enchanting.

Repeated Enchants

When you enchant your gear, you have the ability to view all of the available options and set the “Option Types”. You can choose up to 1-3 prefix options and 1-3 suffix options, for a total of 6 options.

Next, you can set the “Option Tier” and the number of options you want to enchant. The enchant will repeat until it obtains the desired result. If you don’t adjust the settings, the enchant will continue until the tier condition is met, regardless of the option type. Just be aware that if you set the option tier too high, you may ignore Authority Exclusive Options.

Finally, you can set the number of options you want to include from the options selected in “Option Types”. You can use the % button to view the chance of options appearing for each tier. Keep in mind that options that cannot appear together in Prefix and Suffix cannot be set together.

Essence Types in UNDECEMBER

In the world of Undecember, essences play a significant role in the enchanting of gear. There are several different essence types that can be used to imbue gear with specific abilities and enhancements.

Magic Upgrade Essence: Converts a Normal or Magic item into a Magic item and resets the maximum option count. You can obtain this essence through drops, disassembling gear, trading, or ores.

Magic Birth Essence has a chance to imbue new options onto a Magic item. The Magic Change Essence can change the values of the options already imbued on a Magic item.

Magic Imbue Essence: Imbues 1 additional option to a Magic item by chance (cannot exceed the maximum option count).

Magic Expansion Essence: Increases the max option count by +1 for a Magic item (up to 3 maximum).

Random Upgrade Essence: Changes a Normal, Magic, or Rare item into a Magic/Rare/Unique item by chance (only certain items can be upgraded to a Unique item).

Reversion Essence: Changes a Magic, Rare, or Legendary item into a Normal item.

Rare Upgrade Essence: Changes a Magic item into a Rare item (maximum option count can be increased up to 4-6).

Rare Birth Essence has a chance to imbue new options onto a Rare item.

Rare Imbue Essence: Imbues 1 additional option to a Rare item by chance (cannot exceed the maximum option count).

The Rare Change Essence is used to alter the option values of a Rare item. This essence allows you to modify the characteristics and abilities of your Rare gear, giving you greater customization and versatility. By using the Rare Change Essence, you can tailor your gear to better suit your specific needs and playstyle in the world of Undecember.

Rare Expansion Essence: Increases the max option count by +1 for a Rare item (up to 6 maximum).

Disintegration Essence: Removes 1 option from a Magic or Rare item by chance.

Quality Birth Essence: Deletes and re-imbues the existing quality of a Normal item without any Authority.

Quality Modification Essence: Modifies the quality of an item that is +10 quality or higher by -5 to +10. Can only be used once per item.

Prefix Option Birth Essence: Re-imbues a Prefix option to a Magic or Rare item by chance.

Prefix Option Removal Essence: This essence removes 1 Prefix option from a Magic or Rare item by chance.

The Suffix Option Birth Essence can be used to randomly imbue a Suffix option onto a Magic or Rare item. The Suffix Option Removal Essence can be used to remove a Suffix option from a Magic or Rare item.

The Unique Change Essence can be used to re-imbue the option values of a Unique item. The Legendary Upgrade Essence can be used to change a Rare item into a Legendary item, though existing options can no longer be enchanted. The Legendary Imbue Essence can be used to imbue an additional option onto a Legendary item.

Alyssa Essence and Vesper Essence can be used to imbue or modify the options of Rare gear above level 70. Alyssa Essence imbues new options and higher tiers with a high chance, while Vesper Essence imbues a higher tier while maintaining the existing options. At least one option will be imbued with the highest tier when using Vesper Essence, even for options where the highest tier is fixed.

The Authority essences can be used to imbue Authority onto Magic, Rare, Unique, or Legendary items. These essences include Alyssa, Boreal, Casthor, Sephdar, Aquilla, Vesper, Capri, and Miraseti. These essences will randomly re-imbue unique Authority options and Prefix/Suffix options onto the item, though only Unique Authority options can be added to Legendary grades.

These essences can be obtained through various methods such as dropping, disassembling, completing missions, or trading with other players. They are a valuable resource for enhancing the power and abilities of your gear in Undecember.
