How to Use The Pro Stick to Shoot in NBA 2K22?

Follow these simple steps to use pro stick effectively in NBA 2K22. If you don’t like the pro stick shooting of NBA 2K22, you can disable “shot aiming” from your options and use the shot button instead. Unfortunately, this method will not provide the same level of shooting accuracy, so we recommend learning to adapt.

To take a shot or layup with the pro stick, pull the right thumbstick down and twist it slightly to aim it in the middle of the yellow part of the shot meter. The tricky part is that the yellow portion of the shot meter changes depending on where you shot from.

Please note that you do not need to shoot manually; instead, focus on your aim and keep your hands steady while the player does the rest.

It takes a lot of practice to become an expert at it. Set the game to free play and practice shooting from different angles while learning how to get green shots. The more you practice, the easier it will get.
