How to Do a Hook Shot in NBA 2K22

To perform a hook shot: Hold down LT to post up. Move and hold the Right Stick up left or up right while the Left Stick is neutral.

To perform a hook shot: Hold down L2 to post up. Move and hold the Right Stick up left or up right while the Left Stick is neutral.

The best hook shot is taken from a sideways position, with your body shielding your shooting hand from the defender. Furthermore, the non-shooting hand, together with the shoulders, protects the defender. The hook shot is primarily used as a post-move within 2-3 feet of the hoop, but some players might use it further out. The hook shot has become one of the most well-known shots in basketball, but it’s also a move that must be practiced extensively to be executed in games.
