War in CK3? It’s not all swords and siege. Let’s break down the aftermath:
- Victory or Defeat: Basically, you either nail it and reap the rewards of your Casus Belli, or you bite the dust, lose some shiny Prestige or Piety, and have to fork over a hefty chunk of Gold to the other side. Victory? Sweet. Defeat? Not so much.
- White Peace: It’s like both sides just decide to call it quits. Anyone can propose it, but the other party’s gotta give it the thumbs up. Go this route, and the attacker takes a little hit to their Prestige or Piety.
- Post-War Perks for Allies: Whether you were throwing the victory party or licking your wounds, your allies walk away with some extra Prestige. Cheers to friendship!
- Truce Time: After the dust settles, the attacker and defender enter the ‘No Fight Club’ with a Truce. Break that Truce? Say goodbye to 250 Prestige, drop a Fame level, and brace yourself for 3 years of side-eye from pretty much everyone.
So whether you’re in it to win it, or just wanna peace out, wars in CK3 have their own set of rules and aftermath. Play smart, choose your battles, and may the war odds be ever in your favor!
