Follow the steps outlined below to resolve this issue in FIFA 23.
- First, check to make sure that there isn’t a temporary outage on EA’s servers. This can happen occasionally whether it’s for maintenance or if there’s a slight issue on their end. Most times this issue is resolved in a short amount of time. Here, you can check the status of the server.
- If that seems to not be the issue, then you should check your own internet settings. Make sure that everything checks out and restart your router. It’s a bit of a cliche, but “turn it off and turn it back on again” is the fix for about 90% of technical issues nowadays.
- Connection issues may occur if your internet service provider’s DNS is unavailable. DNS stands for Domain Name System and refers to a group of servers that convert IP addresses—such as magicgameworld.com—into readable addresses and vice versa.
If a DNS server fails, your computer or console may be unable to interact with EA’s game servers. Consider using a free and dependable DNS service, such as Google Public DNS or OpenDNS, to determine if you have a DNS problem. You’re free to conduct your own research into how to modify the DNS on your platform.
- Check to see if the FIFA 23 is being blocked by the Windows firewall or antivirus software. Disabling antivirus or firewall software can sometimes solve the problem.
- Lastly, if all else fails, you can switch to the dreaded wired connection. No one likes having to deal with extra wires, but it’s a sure fire way to not have to deal with wireless issues. And your internet performance will be better as well!
