How to Find Ted Selly “The Mysterious Visitor” in Dinkum
Dinkum is populated by a diverse cast of characters—one of them is Ted Selly. It needs to start raining before Ted Selly, the Mysterious Visitor, shows himself. When it’s consistently rainy or windy (you’ll know because leaves will be flying around the screen) you’ve got to get out of the village.
Selly appears randomly throughout the various biomes. Keep an ear out for loud whistling; you can’t miss it—it’s that loud. Sounds like something out of a cowboy movie. When you hear it, it means he’s around. Look for a man with a bucket on his head. Selly buys bugs/fish/animal droppings and sells high-end weapons (Battle Shovel, Bone Bow, Bone Arrow) and lures (Croco Berley Box, Devil Berley Box, Shark Berley Box). You can also use the shark bait to obtain the meat known as “flake.” You can cook fish and chips with it, a dish that’s a big help with fishing. Regardless of how bad your rod is, you’ll catch ’em quickly that way. When you get a bite, an iron fishing rod usually allows you to catch it all at once.
