Follow these steps;

Step 1 – Navigate to Save File Location

You can find your saved files at the following location. Please note that the “Username” depends on the name you gave during Windows installation:

• C:\Users\Username\AppData\LocalLow\Red Dot Games\Car Mechanic Simulator 2021\

Alternatively you can copy and paste the following path:

• %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Red Dot Games\Car Mechanic Simulator 2021\

Step 2 – Modify Save Files by Using Text Editor

There is a file named “profile0.cms21” that corresponds to the first save of the game. Use Notepad or a similar text editor like Notepad++ etc. to open it. Inside the file, you can change the PlayerMoney PlayerLevel and Scrap values to adjust your money, levels & scrap values respectively. The “points” value, which is located just before “upgradeForMoneyData” must be changed to modify the skill points. For example: if you want 30 skill points, you should enter “30” here.
