Dinkum – How to Make and Use Fertilizer
How to Make Fertilizer in Dinkum
Trapping a bunch of roos and putting them in a pen is one of the best ways to make fertilizer in the early game. When you walk past them after a while, there should be a lot of roo poo. It only takes four roo poos to make fertilizer.
Once your farming is at a high enough level, you will unlock the recipe for fertilizer. Over time, compost bins are used to generate fertilizer. Compost bins are earned from level 10 Farming. 4 Roo Poo or 2 Vombat Poo are required to create 1 Fertilizer.
Please be aware that turning compost into fertilizer requires a full day. During each sleep cycle, the compost bin uses items as inputs to generate fertilizer. Over the course of 5-7 days, the worm farm produces fertilizer that must be manually harvested. If you have extra seashells and bones, you can put them in the compost bin. 8 for bones, 25 for some shells, and 15 for others. On many of your contraptions, the machine manual that John sells will tell you what the machine accepts and what it produces.
