Regrettably, King’s Bounty II lacks an FOV slider, causing some gamers to suffer from upset stomachs and vertigo. Nonetheless, there’s a clever workaround to tweak the FOV by altering certain game files. Before proceeding with the steps outlined below, make sure to back up the original file (Engine.ini) and store it in a safe place.
- First, find your way to the configuration file location:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\KingsBounty2\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
- Then track down the Engine.ini file & open it with a text editor like Notepad. Append the subsequent lines to the file:
[/script/engine.localplayer]
AspectRatioAxisConstraint=120
- Swap the number 120 with your preferred FOV value, but choose wisely to prevent any negative effects on your gaming session. Save your changes once you’ve finished.
- Bear in mind that a significant game update may undo these alterations, which would mean you’ll need to redo the steps or turn off automatic updates.
- Now that you’ve made these tweaks, we hope your issue is resolved, and you can relish a more enjoyable and cozy gaming experience.
