  • Railguns are modular, custom-length projectile weapons constructed out of multiple parts. The longer the railgun, the more damage it will do and the longer its range will be.

 

  • Every Railgun requires a Launcher module on the forward end, which shoots out projectiles at high velocity.

 

  • Railguns can also have any number of optional Accelerator modules. Each Accelerator increases the range, damage, and penetration depth of the projectile.

 

  • And lastly, every Railgun requires a Loader module at the aft end, which is where the projectile ammunition is loaded by the crew.

 

TIP: Each Launcher and Accelerator module must be individually powered by batteries delivered by crew. If a single Launcher or Accelerator module is not powered, the entire Railgun will be unable to fire. (The Loader module only requires standard cannon ammunition and does not need to be powered.)
