GOTTA RUN THAT GAME LIKE A BOSS

Before you dive in, right-click on the game’s shortcut or setup file and choose “Run as Administrator”. Trust me, it’ll save you some headaches.

UNPLUG THE EXTRA GIZMOS

Got other devices plugged in? Controllers, graphic tablets, and whatnot? Time to give ’em a break. Stick to the keyboard and mouse for now. If you’ve got things like x360CE or vJoy going on, hit the pause button on those too.

SLOW DOWN, SPEEDY MOUSE

Your mouse acting all hyper? Let’s chill it out. Here’s the game plan:

Windows 10:

Hit up WinKey+R, then pop “control” into the Run window. Navigate to Mouse -> Pointer Options. You see that “Enhance pointer precision” box? Make sure it’s unchecked, then click OK.

Windows 8.1, 7:

Head over to Start -> Control Panel -> Mouse -> Pointer Options. Same drill: uncheck “Enhance pointer precision” and hit OK.

GIVE THAT TOUCHSCREEN A BREAK

If you’re rockin’ a tablet PC, make sure to hook up a keyboard and mouse and give that touchscreen a timeout.

CLEAN BOOT MODE
