Gathering & Salvaging Materials in Cosmoteer: Starship Architect & Commander

Destroyed ships will drop valuable materials which you can use to repair and upgrade your own ship. Any remaining pieces of destroyed ships can also be salvaged for additional materials.

To collect and salvage those materials, click the Gather/Salvage/Mine button near the bottom-left and then drag a box around everything you want to collect and salvage.

Your ship’s crew will automatically collect the materials and store them in your ship. In an emergency, press the Recall Crew button to cancel all crew orders and summon everyone back to your ship.

TIP: If gathering & salvaging are taking too long, try using the >> button to increase the game speed.
