FIFA 22: How to Move Your Goalkeeper

The key to winning in situations where the goalkeeper is on his own often involves moving him out of the goal box. To successfully implement this strategy, you must patiently wait for the right moment and adapt to the existing conditions on the pitch. Ideal opportunities arise when the striker has released the ball too far ahead, or when the pass to a running player is too long; these situations allow the goalie to step out. Such instances are also advantageous for reducing the angle of shot and limiting the space in the goal to which the ball can be aimed.

To take control of your goalkeeper, press down on the right stick and continue to hold it until you hear a “click.” This sound confirms that you have gained control of the goalkeeper.
