The Unfettered PC Keyboard Controls Guide

Throne

If you’ve spent any amount of time reading other intros or guides I’ve written, you probably know I’m not one for Soulslikes. I understand how they work and how that appeals to the fans that eat every single one of them up, but I really only bounce off of them. In fact, this guide is about a new soulslike from developer/publisher Trender Software, and I’m looking at the Steam page for it right now. You know in that, “Is this game relevant to you?” box that every game has? What I see is Elden Ring and Monster Hunter World, both of which I own. According to this, I’ve put 30 hours into Monster Hunter World (plus many, many more on Xbox), and only 8.1 hours into Elden Ring, most of which was restarting to try to find a class that worked for me.

I didn’t find one.

But, the beauty of The Unfettered, the newest dark fantasy Soulslike, is that it is in Early Access! That might not sound like a great thing immediately, but think about all of the balancing changes that can be made on the fly! “This fight is too difficult”, “This monster is unbalanced”, all of that can be fixed in between gameplay sessions! I’m pretty intrigued, especially since on of the screenshots on the Steam page reads, “Ecstatic Baby Bestowed”. What does that mean?!? That sounds awesome!

If you want an Ecstatic Baby as much as I do, then check out this keyboard controls and key bindings guide for The Unfettered. It has all of the information you’ll need to navigate this dark and scary world while battling the creatures that haunt it. You’re probably still going to beef quite a lot even with this guide, but it’ll make things easier!

Mike has been playing video games since he was able to hold a controller, having been fascinated by Sonic 2 on his mom’s Sega Genesis. That fascination and passion for the art form has grown exponentially nearly 30 years later, and he doesn’t see that fading away anytime soon.
