Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord – How to Make Gold

Like any role-playing game, money makes the money go round – so you’ll want to consider various Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord money-making methods as you play.

There’s no one single technique to keep your cash flow up – you have to keep a number of things in mind as you play the game, such as the following…

Kill the Bandits – This is probably the best way of farming gold in Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord. There are a ton of bandit groups in the open world so go out and take as many of them down as possible. Killing bandits will give you loot including gold. Bandits are usually low-level enemies so they are very easy to kill.

Loot Villages for Gold – This is not the best way to get gold but still, it is a way nonetheless. Attack and loot villages in Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord to farm for gold. Keep in mind that looting villages to get more gold will result in strained relations with lords that own those villages and those settlements.

Trade for Gold – There is a trading system in Mount & Blade 2 which can be used to get more money. The trick is to do what GameStop does, buy items for cheaper and sell at a higher price later. It is the safest way to farm gold as it won’t affect your relations with anyone.

Complete Quests – You can accept quests from various lords and complete them to get more money. These quests are usually defeating bandits in Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord. Make the lords happy to get more gold from them.
