The Sims 4 Cottage Living Cheats & Console Commands

Press Ctrl + Shift + C to bring up a cheat console. Then type the following codes (without the quotes) and press ‘Enter’ to enable the corresponding effect.

Note: Input the cheat code testingcheats true first before entering the cheats below.

Code – Result

• traits.equip_trait trait_Nature_Country – Nature Conversationalist trait

• traits.equip_trait trait_AnimalEnthusiast – Animal Enthusiast trait

• traits.equip_trait trait_LactoseIntolerant – Lactose Intolerant trait (yes, you’re evil if you do this to your Sim)

• stats.set_skill_level Skill_CrossStitch 5 – This maxes out the Cross Stitch skill

Other Cheat Codes

ALL Homes are Temporarily Free while the Cheat is Active. Enter Cheat in the Neighborhood Screen. If Purchased, Beware of the Taxes in these Lots:

Type ‘freerealestate (on/off)’

Displays Available Commands:

Type ‘help’

Enable/Disable Cheats:

Type ‘testingcheats (on/off)’

Exits the Game:

Type ‘quit’

Hides ALL Sim Overhead Effects such as Plumbob, Thought Balloons, and Speech Balloons:

Type ‘hideheadlineeffects (on|off)’

Provides 1,000 Simoleons:

Type ‘kaching’ or ‘rosebud’

Provides 50,000 Simoleons:

Type ‘motherlode’

Reset your Sim. Ex. Resetsim Bob Smith:

Type ‘resetsim (sims first name) (sims lastname)’

Toggles Fullscreen:

Type ‘fullscreen’

Turns the Frame Rate Display in the Bottom Left Corner:

Type ‘fps (on|off)’
