How to Skip the Prelude in NBA 2K22

You can bypass the prologue in NBA 2K22 and go straight to the start of MyCareer, skipping high school and college and landing in the NBA. If you don’t want to start from the beginning and instead want to become a pro and play for your favorite teams, you can save a few hours of gameplay this way.

You need to quit your current MyCareer and start a new one. It will ask you if you want to skip the prelude and go to The Neighborhood at the start.

Once you’ve finished all that, go ahead and select the Neighborhood option from the Menu. Follow the instructions to skip the prologue and go straight to NBA. You will receive a final warning before continuing, and if you do, you will skip the start in NBA 2K22 completely.

There are no more cutscenes once you reach the NBA, whether through prologue or bypassing. There are no post-game interviews, no mid-game scenes, no endorsement moments, and the prelude storyline is essentially dropped. You receive a couple of emails about endorsements, and that’s the end of it.
