How to Mute Voice Chat in FIFA 22

Just like any other online game, FIFA 22 isn’t immune to those obnoxious players who love to wreak havoc in the in-game voice chat. Need a peaceful gaming environment? Well, muting these party-poopers is your ticket to serenity! And the good news? It’s not rocket science! Let me walk you through how to hit the mute button on these folks.

PlayStation & Xbox:

On PlayStation and Xbox, press L3 (for PS4 & PS5) or push down the Left Stick (for Xbox One & Xbox Series X I S). This will allow you to mute players on the pre-game screen, before you select your kit.

PC / Origin:

Unfortunately, there is no way to disable voice chat on the Origin Launcher. However, if you don’t want anyone to hear you in-game, the following steps can help you accomplish this. Launch Origin.

• Navigate to Options.

• Set the ‘Voice Chat Activation’ setting to ‘push-to-talk’, or mute the audio by adjusting the input and output sliders.

• Click ‘Apply’ to save your changes, and then close the settings window.
