How Crab Pots Work in Dinkum

Crab Pots let you catch critters. You might think they are useless because you mostly catch useless junk. It takes a whole day for a trap to catch anything, and you have to put bait inside it each time. To craft the crab pots, you must first purchase the fishing Tier 2 License from Fletch, and that requires a level 10 fishing skill. You have to submerge crab pots two levels deep.

You will need the following materials to craft a crab pot:

Materials Needed

  • 5 Copper Bar

  • 2 Iron Bar

  • 4 Palm Wood Plank

  • 2 Spinifex Resin

Baits:

The kinds of bait you can use in a crab pot are as follows:

  • Meat

  • Raw Drumstick

  • Raw Giant Drumstick

List of Catchable Critters in Dinkum

Critters are collectible creatures found by diving underwater. They can be given to Theodore at the Museum or purchased from John at John’s Goods for Dinks.

Critters can be found in a variety of bodies of water, including the ocean, rivers, and mangrove swamps. If you have Level 2 of the Fishing License, Critters release bubbles indicating their underwater locations.
