Speed Up Vinyl Text
If you’re trying to place a message somewhere on your vehicle, you may have already gone through the process of selecting individual letters and putting them on your car. However, if you’re looking to avoid the tedium that entails, then it is possible to type out the entire message in one go! At the vinyl letter selection screen, all you have to do is press the X button on your Xbox controller. This will bring up a text box and the system’s keyboard for you to use. Then, all you have to do is type your message and press enter, and your message will appear on the side of your car, perfectly spaced, with no hassle.

Headlight Trick
There are quite a few cars in Forza Horizon 5 that feature pop-up headlights. If you’d like to activate those headlights during the day for a photo op, there is unfortunately no button you can press to activate them at will. You can, however, fool the game into activating the headlights for you. All you have to do is find a tunnel during the daytime. You’ll notice that whenever you enter a tunnel, the lights turn on. But, if you park up just outside of the tunnel and rotate your camera to look at your car’s windshield, your headlights will activate while you’re still outside! Right now, this is the only way to get pictures with your headlights activated during the day.

Prank Other Players
To foster a sense of community, you can gift random players with cars from your collection. A fun thing to do, if you’re willing to part with a nice car, is to prank people with modified vehicles. As an example, you could select a fairly expensive car, and in its brake settings, turn the brake pressure all the way down to zero. To further enhance the prank, you could also put a silly message along the left side or the back of the vehicle. Then, after you send it to another player, all they will see is the front and right side, so they won’t see the silliness until they’re already driving it! Also, with no brake pressure, they’re guaranteed to have an exciting time unless they figure it out right away!

The Need for Speed
If you feel that the sense of speed in Forza Horizon 5 just isn’t up to par for you (as it isn’t for many people), then it is possible for you to crank up that feeling. All you have to do is go to the game’s settings and increase the field of view. Maximizing this setting will allow you to see more of the environment as you drive, making your cars feel faster as you zip through the streets.

Clean Up the Clutter
When you open up the map in Forza Horizon 5, you’ll probably notice how many events there are. The entire map is absolutely covered with locations of things to do, making it difficult to see landmarks and roads in general. If you’d like a more tidy view of the game’s world, you can use the filter feature in the map screen to get rid of some of those icons. When it’s only showing what you want to see, the map will be much easier to see and read.

Custom Interiors
Forza Horizon 5 unfortunately does not have any kind of menu that allows you to customize the interior of the cars you’ll be driving. This is unfortunate, as it would really spice up the cockpit view you can activate at any time. However, there is a way to change the default interior of many cars. For some vehicles, the secondary paint color will completely change the color of the interior. On the police Crown Victoria, you can install police lights which will put a control handle that comes into view in the cockpit mode. Those are just a few examples, and not every car allows for interior modification, but it is worth experimenting to see what is possible. Especially if you spend a lot of time in the cockpit view.
