Resource Management – Cosmoteer: Starship Architect & Commander

To manage your ships resources, click the Manage Resources button.

Most resources are stored in stacks on storage tiles. Storage Bays can hold stacks of any type. Weapons, factories, and other specialized parts can only hold resources that they actually use or produce.

To tell your crew to move resources from one tile to another, select the Move Resources tool, click the stack of resources you want to move, and then click the tile where they should be moved.

You can also tell your crew to store only a specific resource in specific tiles. Click the button for the desired resource and then click on the tiles that should only store that resource. Your crew will try to store that resource in those tiles whenever possible and will not automatically store other resources in them.

Lastly, you can also set up supply chains between storages, factories, reactors, weapons, and other parts. This works very similarly to crew squad orders: When a supply link is added, the supplier and receiver will never send resources to or receive resources from any other parts.
