HOW TO FIX FIFA 23 WON’T OPEN OR LAUNCH IN WINDOWS 10 & 11

  • Administrative Rights – Oftentimes not playing from the game from the admin account can cause it to crash. Right-click on the icon and choose Run the Game as Administrator, or try launching the game from the admin account.

 

  • Anti-Virus Problems – Although rare, a third-party antivirus or even the Windows Defender can sometimes detect the game’s .exe file as a virus. Try running the game after you’ve disabled the anti-virus.

 

  • Not updated – An out-of-date game client can also prevent the game from launching on Windows. Open your game client and ensure the game is updated before trying to run it. 

 

  • Low specs – FIFA 23 does require a better PC if you want it to run smoothly on your system. While it isn’t the most demanding of games, you’ll still need at least 100 GB of free space and a GTX 1660 or equivalent graphics card if you want to play FIFA 23 on high settings.   • Outdated GPU – Given how graphically demanding games are these days, an outdated driver can cause unnecessary crashes. Make sure to check your driver from time to time to ensure it’s updated.
