How to Score Downward Headers

In FIFA 22, downward headers are a very effective way to score goals. Downward Headers can be accomplished through a free-kick, corner, or simply crossing the ball into the box from elsewhere on the field. It’s all about timing when it comes to scoring downward headers. Press the button inputs just before your player heads the ball to ensure the ball hits the target. • To do a downward header in FIFA 22 on Xbox One & Xbox Series X I S, you’ll need to press LB and RB and B simultaneously.

• For PS4 and PS5 players, the buttons you’ll need to press are L1 and R1 and Circle all at the same time and then press them all again in that sweet spot for the Timed Finishing.

• You can also score downward headers on the Nintendo Switch by pressing A + L + R simultaneously.
