To start the game on Windows 7, add ‘-dx11‘ to the launch parameters.

 

 

Adding Launch Parameters:

  • Select the ‘Library’ tab at the top of the Steam client. Here, all your installed games are listed.

 

  • Right-click on the game and select ‘Properties’ from the list of options available.

 

  • Navigate to the ‘General’ tab, and you will see a ‘Set Launch Options’ button. Click it.

 

  • A small new window will appear with a dialogue box. Enter the launch option you wish to apply and save the changes. Now, whenever you launch the game, it will start with these options applied.
