MMORPGs aren’t anything new. World of Warcraft has been going for decades, and Final Fantasy XIV has been conquering people’s lives for a while now as well. But sometimes, you want the massive open world and player interaction of an MMORPG without the frantic need for advancement. Sometimes you just want to dip you toe into something similar without worrying about ruining everything you’ve spent months or years building up.

 

Well, I’d like to introduce you to Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore from Gellyberry Studios and Freedom Games. This all-new open-world sandbox MMORPG has the graphical stylings of Runescape with the spirit of other, more dense MMO experiences. It has a world filled with secrets, many monsters to battle, and plenty of guilds to join or forge with your friends.

 

It looks pretty awesome.

 

So if you’re in the market for a new MMORPG, and maybe one that won’t consume your life, then check out Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore! If you do decide to dig into this world, I have right here a super helpful PC controls guide for the game that will get you up and running. There’s so much to see and explore, but you’ll also likely run into danger while doing that, so make sure you know what all your buttons do.

 

We always recommend that you leave this page open with the guide visible, so that you can reference it in a flash if you need to, but some people just take notes and that seems to work fine as well.

 

 

Default Key Bindings & Hotkeys

  • W, A, S, D: Moves character

 

  • Ctrl + W or A or S or D: Turns character to face direction

 

  • Capslock: Toggle Walk/Run

 

  • O: Social Menu

 

  • Left-Shift + B: Open all bags

 

  • Left-Alt + U: Open repair menu

 

  • Hold Alt: Highlights items on the ground

 

  • Ctrl + H: Opens Help/tutorial book

 

  • Ctrl + B: Opens quest storage bag

 

  • Left-Alt + T: Opens hand crafting table

 

  • Left-Alt + C: Opens construction book

 

  • Left-Alt + M: Opens matchmaking

 

  • Double Click Left Mouse: Move to Location

 

  • Scroll Wheel Up & Down: Rotate Camera Left & Right

 

  • Double Clicking Mini Map: Move to clicked location (best for long distance traveling). Can zoom out on map to have a bigger movement area.
