Here’s a quick guide on the default PC keyboard and mouse commands and controls for Bus Simulator 21. Remember you can customize these controls anytime, whether you’re in the main menu or in the middle of a game. Just go to the options menu and select the Controls setting to make any changes you want.
Default Key Bindings
- W – Forwards
- S – Back
- W – Accelerate
- S – Stop
- A – Left
- D – Right
- F – Switch to cockpit zoom
- E – Interact
- Mouse horizontal – Look to the right
- Mouse horizontal – Look to the left
- Mouse vertical – Look up
- Mouse vertical – Look down
- Mouse wheel or Y – Toggle between first and third-person mode
- Left Shift key – Switch to action cam
- X – Interior mirror
- Left Ctrl key – Switch to ticketing machine mode
- Tab – Overview of all cockpit Functions
- ^ – Open/close all doors
- 1 – Open/close first door
- 2 – Open/close second door
- 3 – Open/close third door
- 4 – Open/close fourth door
- 5 – Open/close fifth door
- G – Extend or retract ramp
- H – Horn
- Space bar – Hand brake
- V – Kneeling
- Left Alt – Bus stop brake
- Z – Change to speed limiter
- E – Signal right
- Q – Signal left
- P – Emergency brake/hand brake
- I – Ignition
- F – Shift up a gear
- R – Shift down a gear
- B – Windshield wiper
- U – Turn engine on/off
- M – Cycle retarder strength
- 0 – Ticketing machine lights
- 9 – Passenger lights
- 8 – Cockpit lights
- 7 – Warning lights
- L – Cycle main light
- K – High beams
- Right-click mouse – Customizing area
- Escape – Open/close pause menu
- Shift key – Button overview
- C – Exit cockpit
- End – End trip
- Escape – Cancel
- Enter – Open chat
- 9 – Move the seat forward
- 6 – Move seat backward
