In the lower-left corner are a handful commands that give you greater control of your ship:
- The Move Command (M) allows you to move to a specific location or follow any ship.
- The Attack Command (T) allows you to attack almost any ship, even your own or other friendly ships. You can also use it to quickly adjust the angle and distance of an existing attack order.
- The Halt Command (H) cancels all current orders.
- The Rotate Command (R) rotates your ship in place without moving.
- The Strafe Command (Z) moves your ship while keeping its current rotation.
- If you prefer to fly your ship manually using the keyboard and mouse, click the Direct Control Mode button.
Controlling The Camera
- To drag the camera, click, hold, and then drag the middle mouse button.
- To focus the camera on any ship, click the middle mouse button on it.
- You can also middle-click in empty space to center the camera there.
- To focus on multiple ships, hold the ALT key, left-click, and drag a box around the ships.
- TIP: Press the F key to focus on your ship.
