Solasta 2 Party: How to Lead, Split, & Get Companions
Party Leader: It’s Just Who You’re Controlling
Solasta II’s design is simple – you control one character at a time and the rest of your party follows along.
The leader choice literally doesn’t matter from a gameplay standpoint. It’s just the character you are directly moving around & making decisions with. Anybody in your party can be the leader. Dialogues? Everybody speaks up (regardless of who’s leading.) don’t overthink it.
How to Split or Regroup the Party
Need to split your squad? Press the Party Mode button (highlighted in the above picture); you now have one character under your control.
The rest of your party stays in place. Useful for ambushes or sending a rogue forward to scout in “Cautious Mode”. Tactical superiority, period.
Leader Switching
Want to control someone else? Press Tab or click on their portrait. Leader switched. Fast and simple.
Companions
Companions are NPCs who you recruit.
You control them just the same as your core heroes.
No inventory access: You can’t tamper with their gear.
You need to be friends with their faction to recruit companions…
They level up automatically to match the power of your party. Trustworthy friends to have.
