Solasta 2 – How to Heal Your Party
So, you’ve managed to survive another brutal encounter in Solasta 2, congratulations… now, let’s talk about how to glue your party back together because, let’s be honest, they look like they lost a fight with a swarm of particularly angry goblins and gravity.
Healing options
After a battle, you’ll often find your heroes wounded. To regain Hit Points, you can:
- Use Healing Spells
- Use Healing Powers and Abilities
- Use Potions
- Take a Short Rest
Healing Spells
Multiple classes have Healing Spells. In combat, most of them use a Main Action. Some only use a
Bonus Action, such as Healing Word.
Healing Powers and Abilities
Some characters also have their own ways to heal:
- Fighters gain the Second Wind feature at level 2, allowing to regain a bit of
health once between two Short or Long Rests.
- Paladins have the Lay on Hands feature, allowing them to dispatch
Hit Points from a pool that replenishes after a Long Rest.
Healing Potions
Potions are practical, especially because you can use them at anytime and stock them.
You can use a potion in two ways:
- Directly from your Inventory
- Through your Use Device
Main Action, if the potion is equipped in your Character’s Utility Slot.
Short Rest
At anytime in a safe place, your party can take a Short Rest. During a Short Rest, heroes can regain some uses of specific abilities and powers, and spend Hit Dice to recover Hit Points.
Heroes have as many maximum Hit Dice as their levels. Spending a Hit Dice heals heroes by the number rolled + their Constitution modifier.
