ELEX II is a vast sprawling world with addictive and fun RPG elements. The decisions you can make and all the different ways to build your character make no two playthroughs the same and offer tons of replayability. That being said, it’s definitely not for everyone as it also has some performance issues and janky gameplay.

The game has some performance issues in some areas, but overall it is stable. The camera zooming in and out as you sprint also irritating, and some of the character models are awful. Aside from these issues, the game is a vast improvement over ELEX 1. The melee combat, in particular, has been dramatically improved, with a wide range of options to keep things fresh, engaging, and fair.
