Can I make a button to control a thruster?
Yes, of course. All devices and machinery operate on public variables – variables that are changed by other systems, or variables that can be changed manually by control parts like buttons. Just use the U-Tool to find the variable that is an input-type and change the Field Names for both the device variable and the button/lever State field by the same name, and adjust On/Off values to set to them.
This way you can either control all systems, display them on display parts, or both.
