NBA 2K22 – How to Perform a Flashy Dunk

Before starting, keep in mind that NBA 2K22 features several types of dunks. To experiment with various dunks, you must use a range of controls, sticks, and triggers.

To execute a Flashy Dunk, hold R2 on Playstation 4 and 5 or RT on Xbox One and Series X|S while pushing the right stick. This type of dunk should only be attempted when you’re running towards the basket alone. Attempting a Flashy Dunk in close proximity to an opponent increases the likelihood of being blocked or missing the shot.

The player’s Driving Dunk rating is the primary factor in successfully executing regular dunks and dunking over opponents. Regardless of the badges and animations a player possesses, a low dunk rating will inhibit their ability to dunk effectively.
