Mortal Online 2: Ultimate Guide to Extraction

Having trouble with extraction in Mortal Online 2? Confused regarding which skills to focus on to advance your overall extraction mastery? The extraction system in Mortal Online 2 is exemplary as you need to unlock specific skills in order to gain access to every resource.

It’s not like other games where you go up to a rock and start hacking away. The complete extraction and refining package requires you to master (or at least start learning) 13 primary skills and each secondary skill that come under them. It seems overwhelming, but you’ll get used to it as you keep playing the game. The Perfect Race for Extraction

Oghmir is the best race if you want to become a dedicated extractor as some of the clade gifts provide hefty resource bonuses, such as:

Geologist – While mining, you will receive a notification if there is a chance to find rare material at that spot.

Ironmaster – Bonus yields while refining.

Metallurgist – Bonus yield while extracting.

Inhale (not relevant) – Inhaling ichor fumes grants bonus health regeneration cost of HP.

Getting Started

Basic and Intermediate Ore Extraction, Metallurgy, Ore Extraction Appliances, Petrology are enough if you’re just starting out. Read our Mortal Online 2 beginners guide to learn more about early game activities.

Any sub-skill can never go higher than its parent skill. For instance, Gabore (sub-skill) cannot go higher than Igneous Rock (Parent Skill).

Primary Skills are unlocked using Primary Skill points.

Often your Intelligence and other factors contribute to 10 points. So you only need to level a skill up to level 90 to reach level 100

Alchemy has several powerful implications (mainly potions) but requires lots of experimentation. You’ll need Alchemical Mineralogy to extract resources such as Cuprite, Kimurite, Calamine, Chalk, Kyanite, Sanguinite, etc. refer to our Mortal Online 2 alchemy guide for more information.

The Blast Furnace is a must-have tool for Extraction so unlock it as soon as possible. It yields a lot more material compared to regular furnaces.

Important Ore Extraction appliances you need to get started: Fabricula Expertise, Crusher, Grinder, Natorus, Attractor, and Blast Furnace.

A Quick Guide on Granum Extraction

Learn the following skills for Granum: Extraction>Basic Ore Extraction>Intermediate Ore Extraction.

Tier 2 resource extractions require the Crusher. For Tier 3 and above resources, you’ll need a Refining Oven to extract them.

Here are a few refining recipes: (RATIO OF 2:1:1)

Grain Steel = Pig Iron + Coke + Calx Powder

Steel = Grain Steel + Coal + Saburra Powder

Tungsteel = Grain Steel + Lupium + Granum Powder

Bron = Cuprum + Bleck + Saburra Powder

Messing = Cuprum + Calamine + Saburra Powder

Tindremic Messing = Messing + Almine + Gem Metal

Cronite = Grain Steel + Almine + Arcronite

Oghmium = Tungsteel + Cronite + Sanguinite

EXAMPLE GRAIN STEEL:

1000 Pig Iron + 500 Coke + 500 Calx Powder

You get Amarantum by throwing the Granum in the Grinder.

To get Waterstone, put Amarantum into the Grinder once again.

Electrum is gained when Amaranrum is refined in the furnace.

Using the Fabricula table, you can extract Gem Metal and Lupium from Waterstone.

Using the Natorus Extraction device and Nitre as a catalyst you receive the most amount of Flakestones from Granum.

A Quick Guide on Calx Extraction

You can find Calx near every river and sea bed.

Use a pickaxe, or even a sword, to mine the resource.

Coal is among the most useful resource you can get from Calx.

Calx Powder is required for making Grain Steel and potion vials.

Using a Crusher, 10000 Calx (no catalyst) yields 360 Calspar, 1361 Calx Powder, 2151 Coal, 180 Flakestone, and 891 Malachite.

Using a Grinder, 10000 Calx (water as a catalyst) yields 2000 Calspar, 2058 Calx Powder, 1140 Coal, 36 Flakestone, and 528 Malachite.

Using the Furnace, 10000 Calx (water) yields 2560 Calspar, 28 Flakestone, and 506 Malachite.

Useful Recipes:

10000 Coal + 717 Calx Powder or 596 Coal (catalyst) + Blast Furnace = 7200 Coke

10000 Malachite + 390 Coke (catalyst) + Furnace = 4000 Cuprum + 83 Sulfur

10000 Calspar + 280 Dragon Salt (Catalyst) + Blast Furnace = 700 Chalk + 224 Electrum + 2064 Malachite

10000 Calspar + 133 Dragon Salt (Catalyst) + Furnace = 245 Chalk + 88 Electrum + 1444 Malachite

1000 Calspar + 190 Dragon Salt (Catalyst) + Fabricula = 420 Chalk Glance

10000 Electrum + 640 Calx Powder (catalyst) + Furnace = 2600 Cuprum + 1400 Gold + 1600 Silver. Other catalysts that can also be used are Sulfur, Water, and Coke

10000 Chalk Glance + 190 Dragon Salt or 800 Ichor + Fabricula (catalyst) = 3200 Skadite

A Quick Guide on Gabore Extraction

Found in the northeast region of the map, near the Laval Falls, Gabre Mines, and Tephra Crater.

Galbinum is the most important resource that can be extracted from Gabore.

Useful Recipes:

10000 Gabore + 630 Boras (catalyst) + Grinder = 226 Blood Ore + 4186 Gabore Ore + 1050 Galbinum5

10000 Gabore + 341 Coke (catalyst) + Furnace = 595 Blood Ore + 243 Galbinum + 168 Nyx

10000 Galbinum + 390 Coke (catalyst) + Greater Natorus = 62 Lupium + 652 Pyrite + 4200 Pyroxene

Using the standard furnace with Calx Power is inefficient since you only get around 700 Pyroxene.

10000 Pyroxene + 800 Calx Powder (catalyst) + Blast Furnace = 400 Almine + 800 Acronite + 2040 Calamine + 2720 Electrum

10000 Blood Ore + 390 Coke (catalyst) + Furnace = 4000 Pig Iron

A Quick Guide to Saburra Extraction

Mostly found in Medvil.

Useful recipes:

10000 Blackblende + 417 Rock Oil (catalyst) + Natorus = 5400 Bleck

10000 Blackblende + 720 Bor (catalyst) + Furnace = 1920 Bleck

10000 Malachite + 720 Bor + Furnace = 4000 Cuprum + 200 Sulfur

10000 Malachite + 390 Coke + Furnace = 4000 Cuprum + 83 Sulfur
