Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX - Events

There is a variety of events that can occur under different conditions. You won’t be able to continue your training when your monster is injured, sick has run away, or is lost.

Running Away

Your monster might run away if you are very strict with it when it comes to drills and errantry. Searching for monsters after they run away costs money, and you might also need to spend more to repair the shed if the monster destroys it when it escapes.

Injuries

If your monster loses in a tournament battle (KO), there is a chance they may become injured. A medical fee will be charged to heal your monster.

Sickness

When fatigue accumulates, the monster might become sick. A medical fee will be charged to heal your monster.

Getting Lost

Your monster may get lost when it is out on an errantry or an adventure. Searching for it will cost money.

Mail

Notices regarding half-price campaigns for errantry, item sales, and similar will be delivered to your door.

Adventures

  • After your monster’s tournament grade and fame reach a certain level, you will begin to receive invitations from various explorers.

  • Adventures will accumulate a lot of fatigue, but your monster might bring back rare items.

  • Your monster may also become lost while exploring. The higher its intelligence, the less likely a monster is to get lost.

Death

  • A monster might die when it loses a battle while suffering from heavy fatigue or when it simply receives too much damage. Sometimes it is better to forfeit the battle if you feel that your monster is in danger.

  • Monsters also die from natural causes when they reach the end of their lifespan. You can extend your monster’s lifespan by using certain items.
