FIFA 23: How to Cancel the Three Touch Roulette

Cancel moves are some of the best tricks you can have at your disposal during a FIFA game. They are very effective at throwing the defender off-guard and sending them in a completely different direction, especially in 1v1 situations. Let’s take a look at one of the cancel moves in more detail.

HOW TO PERFORM THE THREE TOUCH ROULETTE IN FIFA 23

The Three Touch Roulette is a 4-star move, so before attempting it make sure your player is skilled enough to reliably execute it.

To perform the Three Touch Roulette, press the L2 button on PS4 & PS5 or LT on Xbox One & Series X|S. While pressing L2/LT flick the Right Stick in the opposite direction that your player is moving and then quickly flick it 90 degrees sideways. For example, if the player is moving left, then flick the Right Stick towards the right and then top and bottom.

BUT HOW DO YOU CANCEL THE THREE TOUCH ROULETTE SKILL MOVE?

If you want to cancel the Three Touch Roulette, you’ll have to do so midway between the animation.

Once your player starts the skill move, press both L2 and R2 or LT and RT simultaneously to cancel the skill and use the Left Stick to aim the player in the direction you want them to proceed after canceling the move.

WHERE TO PERFORM THE THREE TOUCH ROULETTE

The best place to perform the move is the wing and the box because from there, you can always pretend to go in the opposite direction and execute the cancel to throw the opponent off-balance.

This move can easily open up a new angle for your player that you can pursue without getting overly pressured by the oncoming defenders.

Always use the move to cut inside the box or the wing area. It’s a very powerful cancel skill move if you know when and where to use it.
