Aiming your shots is key when it comes to scoring goals in FIFA 23. There have been a lot of changes, and suffice to say that your aim might be off for a while. However, practice makes perfect and this guide shares everything you need to know in order to aim your shots.

HOW TO AIM SHOTS

Use the Trainer if you’re having trouble aiming your shots. The trainer highlights the direction and height of your shot with an arrow. The visual cues make it easier to predict the ball’s trajectory and fine tune the shot with the Left Stick.

When you’re using the Left Stick to aim the shot, do not drag the entire way. Simply nudging it is enough to direct the shot in the right direction.

HOW TO INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF SCORING IN FIFA 23

Always aim towards the goal’s edges, since it forces the goalkeeper to extend the farthest, thereby increasing your chances of scoring. For better assistance, enable the trainer.

A properly executed timed finish increases the overall accuracy and power behind that shot. Each player has a different time shot window, so make sure to familiarize yourself with their intervals if you want to land shots successfully during a game. Note that every player is different. A higher shot meter usually means the ball will fly higher into the sky. But based on your player’s build, the shot distance may vary.

You can also try a finesse shot if you prefer accuracy over power.
